A customer was looking for a spider web grille for her Hearse, and gave me free reign to build it... She also asked if I could incorporate this aluminum spider she had...
 

The mock-up of the grille is now complete... I used 1/4" round rod for the web...

The web has been mounted to the grille, as well as the spider has been mounted to the web...
 

In this shot of the aluminum spider you can see the details that have been added by hand with 1-Shot paint and a brush, the whole thing was clear coated afterwards... An interesting thing about the spider is that the humped area at the back was actually a bowl that's been flipped over and welded...
